If you’re building an electric bike please take a look at the following kits available through Amazon.com.
All of the kits advertised on this page will ship from OEM Control & the transactions are handled by Amazon.com. Both the product & the delivery of the product are protected by Amazon’s A to z Guarantee & you can be assured that should something unexpected happen with your purchase you will be protected.
The kits themselves are manufactured by Conhis Motor Technology Co Ltd.
They are part of Changzhou City Conhis Electronic Cable Factory established in 2003 and located in Changzhou City, China. You’ll find their products comparable to many of the other good quality and well-regarded Chinese electric bike & e bike hub motor manufacturers such as Nine Continent, Golden Motor or Crystalyte Motor.
In the sales box below you’ll find two listings for a 48 V 1000 W 26 Inch Front Wheel Electric Bicycle Kits with slightly different descriptions. They are identical in every way but have different ASIN #’s. If you order one & it is showing out of stock or zero inventory order the other ASIN# or you’ll probably get zero even if there are 12 of the other # sitting there. Also the description for the last 48 V 1000 W is incomplete so please read the one to its left.

It is often very difficult to determine who the manufacturer is when it comes to identifying private label or no label ebike kits sold through the Internet and built-in China. There are hundreds if not thousands of these manufactures in China & tens of thousands of little Mom & Pop operations selling retail and or acting as wholesale exporters through the Internet . Unfortunately it’s all too easy to for these folks to exaggerate the specifications and performance of the units they are trying to sell. Many times I have tried to confirm the information supplied only to discover that it hadn’t been exaggerated it was completely wrong. It had been copied from the site of a similar unit but the wrong manufacturer.
Bottom line, … When you’re trying to compare one unit with another often the only way to get reasonably accurate specifications is from the manufacturer’s website. If you have ever researched some of the ebike kits offered on websites like EBay, D & H, Nextag.com, Buycheapr.com & even Amazon.com you probably know how difficult that can be. The safest way to get accurate & honest information is through ebike forums like Endless-sphere.com/forums/ or ebikehub.com/forum/. Should you persevere and find the manufacturer to be reputable and of adequate quality you then have to be sure who you are actually dealing with. That will only be possible if your contact is actually the seller. Many are not. Lots of vendors are individuals in the far east paying third-party individuals in the west with an US shipping address a small commission to write and post his ebike ads.
The best advice I can share with you when purchasing an E bike kit, hub motor or lithium batteries & charger is to purchase from a local bike when possible. unfortunately that is only possible in some of the larger metropolitan areas. Spend the extra money on a well-known or popular brand. Although it’s possible to get similar or even better quality for less without buying the big brand name it takes work. You have to what you’re looking at. Finally if your budget is tight prepare to spend a few days researching the good ebike websites and forums. Ebikes.ca, largoscooters.com, nycewheels.com, bicycle-power.com or electric-bikes.com are a few. In the end if you willing to use the heavy SLA batteries you should be able to build yourself a decent ebike for between $500 & $600.
If I can toot my horn a bit here a good way to get a head start with all of this is to click on How to buy a motorized bike kit under the Reviews & Sales Pages. This is a fairly complete & easy to read article that I wrote before Thanksgiving. It is chocked full of practical information that you’ll need to understand when making decisions about your ebike project. It’s also full of links to additional reference materials, ebike sites, battery sites and manufacturers. Throw in some of the additional ebike kits promoted in the article and sources for parts and accessories and you’ll be ready to go.
